Sorting queries
Now that you know how to make queries to the Leeds Internet Corpus, you may wonder how you get to sort your concordance lines so as to highlight patterns. The default sorting parameter, as you may have noticed, is according to the context following the search word (known as "right sorting").
- Now re-set the parameters for your query selecting the "left" sorting radio button, and submit your query.

Above we have selected from the concordance output all the lines with in the left, followed by all the lines with of the left. This ordering results from our left-hand sorting.
