It is always a good idea to check a specialised corpus of the source text, for at least two reasons:
  • to make sure the expression we have found in a text we are translating is indeed an attested term;
  • to better understand its meaning and to become acquainted with the contextual patterns in which it is typically used.

Concordance of temperatura ambiente, selected lines, sorted by the second word to the left

"Servire un vino a temperatura ambiente" (to serve a wine at ____ temperature) does seem to be a frequently used phrase (there are 5 occurrences of various forms of the verb servire in our small corpus). The term temperatura ambiente is also found with the verbs portare a (bring to), raggiungere (reach), and consumare a (consume at), and with the noun degustazione (tasting).
