Corpus evidence (ST)
It is always a good idea to check a specialised corpus of the source text, for at least two reasons:
- to make sure the expression we have found in a text we are translating is indeed an attested term;
- to better understand its meaning and to become acquainted with the contextual patterns in which it is typically used.
